Why?
For many, injectable estradiol is seen as scary, due to having to deal with needles. Diabetics had a similar problem with needles, hence the creation of the insulin pen.
How?
In our opinion, one of the biggest fears of injecting HRT, is the visual aspect of seeing a long needle. The pen solves that almost in its entirety, by hiding the needle inside of its cap, and retracting the cap when you put it against your body.
